CAH

Male infants with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (21-OH deficiency type) do not have ambiguous genitalia. Hence the diagnosis is often missed till 2-3 weeks of life when they present with salt wasting features directly.
All forms of CAH are USMLE favourites !

Diuretics and calcium

HCTZ causes Hypercalcemia while
Furosemide causes Hypocalcemia

K+ and B12 are related!

Monitor serum potasium levels while treating anemia with B12 (K+ falls due to uptake by newly forming RBCs.)
